The restaurant's name gave the identity its subject: Persika, "peach" in both Swedish and Neapolitan dialect, rendered as a hand-painted peach before being redrawn as a vector mark, kept deliberately loose, the brush's own hand staying visible in the final sign. That choice matched the architecture's own material logic — a space built from reclaimed and hand-worked material, recovered stone, reassembled timber, hand-painted tile — carrying the same trace of the hand into the identity itself. The same peach reappears as Persika's street presence: a round, back-lit sign mounted outside the entrance, the fruit rendered in warm coral and gold against white, legible from down the alley at dusk.
The colour system worked outward from the same source. Persika's interior moves from a lighter, coral-toned front room into a deeper, more intimate room behind it, closed by a red curtain, and finally into a lacquer-red vaulted cellar at the back — a gradient of intensity, coordinated across paint, signage, and print so that the identity and the architecture read as one continuous idea.
Signage and printed matter — the entrance sign, menus, and the restaurant's other printed material — were developed to extend the same identity outward, ensuring a visitor's first encounter with Persika, on the street or on the page, already carried the same warmth as the room itself.
